The 1984 British TV sitcom **The Clairvoyant** stars **Roy Kinnear** as **Arnold Bristow**, a less-than-honest used car salesman.

The central premise is set in motion when Arnold is knocked down by a car. Upon regaining consciousness, Arnold becomes convinced that he has developed genuine psychic powers. This supposed new ability inspires Arnold to completely change his lifestyle; he attempts to become more honest and moral in all his business dealings. The comical struggle of the series arises from the fact that this sudden, radical shift toward morality and integrity in his shady profession quickly leads Arnold to the brink of **near bankruptcy**.
Only one series was ever made of this unique and very funny sitcom.
Perhaps the reason , Roy, tragically died from a heart attack caused by a fall from a horse during the filming of The Return of the Musketeers in 1988.
